California has a rich olive oil history dating back to circa 1779 when the Spanish Padres imported olive tree cuttings from the old country. One only has to travel to the old Spanish Missions, in San Diego, San Juan Bautista, and Santa Clara, to see some of these magnificent trees still growing today. A drive through San Diego, Paso Robles, San Juan Bautista, San Jose, Napa, Auburn, Fair Oaks, and many other communities around California will reveal the remnants of vast olive orchards, which were once part of California’s olive oil industry. Our 100% California grown olives are masterfully milled into oil that is a reflection and celebration of the Golden State’s rich olive oil history, producing a true “California Style” award winning olive oil.
